Yes as long on you get the box and enough of the wiring harness. So you can wire it into your gbody where you want it to be mounted.

This is an awesome thing that i could do to my '82 Monte Carlo. I'm wondering if I could grab these from an '01 Suburban that I'm goings to use as my donor vehicle for the engine, transmission, and other usable parts.

The keyless module has to be from a passenger car from the 90s not a truck/suv. The truck and suv keyless lock setup was not a standalone system but integrated in the complete wiring making it not a good option unless you want to rewire your whole car to make it work. Compared to 90s camaros,firebird ,lumina,monte carlo ,grand prix ,etc it was a separate system from the rest of the car.

Might work on 60's and 70's cars also. But for sure know it works for 80's cars.

If you hate that 1990-2013ish remote. Boost auto might have what you want. I changed my 4 button 2012 silverado to the new ones at the time. Think they have 2020 remotes now that can work with older models.

Does the module have a part number on it?

Numbers on one of the boxes are 16255271 gm and ab01502r. Name on the box is remote function actuation module.
