It felt like watching a boss fight with 3 phases. The moment, I heard OVA South Island, after Sonic came out from the underground and start running, made me happy. It felt like I was watching a modern version of the fight between Sonic and Metal Sonic from Sonic OVA

I love the animation but just one thing speed I feel like the animation overall felt slow this is sonic we're talking about if his movement and punches were faster this would be perfect same with metal having him match his speed more besides that I like how both sonic and metal were evenly matched throughout the animation until the end a very good animation and keep it up!♥
