Both Charlie and Paulette immigrated to Switzerland, separately. And there they died, and lie today. Composing the song "Smile" has got to be one of Charlie's greatest accomplishments. And Paulette has got to be one of the greatest "femme fatales" of film. Watching her on this video I am captivated by her femininity. Having Nat King Cole singing in the background adds even more magic to these film clips.

I watched this film for the first time (12/25/2020🎄) and she is beautiful in today’s standards, crazy. I find that a lot of actresses back then were usually of the short hair (bob-cut/hairstyle) with a round face. She is opposite of that. Very attractive. Especially when she’s just cutting bananas from their “stalk.” My Lord.

Modern times acted by paulette Goddard who he married when she was 16 which lasted for a few years but remained friends for a long time, charlie was one talented man and made his way to the top so quick, to this day modern times remains one of his best movies and smile which has been sang by so many , when I feel down in the dumps the song smile cheers me up ,r,I,p, charlie ,god bless you, amen 🐦🌈💙☀️💟😘🌈
