En route to a treehouse building gig at Leigh Acres in New Market, Alabama, we made an initial pitstop in Nashville to have a little fun and to stay in this great tiny house rental village. Designed by David Latimer (New Frontier Design), this small home has a very modern feel, great open space and lighting, and is certain to appeal to those who appreciate Danish Modern architecture- and be sure to check out the ground level hideaway bed and the spacious kitchen. Nice concept, in spite of a few flaws. I haven't seen an under-floor pullout bed in quite a while; they are very practical for one-floor living. How about an exterior access to the storage under the kitchen floor? Of course, it's not needed for a hotel, but for a residential design, it could be great. Also part of it could be accessed by pull-out drawers in the steps.

I hate it all straight lines and not an ounce of humanity. There are two books by Alex Wade and some co author all timber housing. They were classics i am sure you have them. They are my kinds of homes. My next house is a baloon construction where the vertical timbers are living trees.

"HATE" seems a pretty strong reaction, but yeah, to each their own and these certainly wouldn't be for everyone. I liked them quite a bit, but would add far more color to the interior.

THey're around 400 square feet I believe- seems fairly tiny to me
