Is there a possibility you could play Infection Free Zone and chose Karlsborgs Fortress in Sweden as a beginning spot? ( Aka. The largest fortress of it's time in all off Europe till it got shut down ) As for more cool ideas for starting spots in Sweden or Finland. You could do Sveaborg in Finland which is an island fortress but idk how islands work in the game. Or you could do the viking city of Visby on the Swedish Island of Gotland which is a City with medieval walls still surrounding it, etc-

The problem with this battle is that the attackers had ranged units. Whenever an army is attacking a defensive army that's on hold and that attacking army has ranged units the attacking army always wins in this game. You could run this battle ten times and every time the attackers would win every time due to the ranged units. There was nothing you could have changed while keeping the historic army the same to give the modern US army a chance for a victory.
