I didn't notice the flinch. Very minimal if not at all. I felt like the ttk was inconsistent due to headshots and long range. The game has bad clarity when it comes to headshots. you don't know if you headshot someone or if the enemy headshots you.

The TTK on the mp5 is 185ms(without headshots). The TTK is NOT good. And we are not even taking into account the desync which makes 12frames at 120fps the ttk (theres video proof). So in reality the ttk is 100ms with desync aka literally impossible to react to

The new cods look like they were made by a bunch highschool nerds who want to add there “creative touch” to the game without even considering the logistical or practical problems with doing so… i think they are missing the basic elements that made mw2 good which is why they can’t mess it up if they just copy and pasted but you aren’t able to understand my comment. Sure make a new cod with new guns and new maps, but the way movement feels and shooting and the detail, and the color saturation…. Taking away perks makes the movement and everything slower and campier… like in mw2, you can throw on marathon, lightweight, and ninja… that allows people to run around and have fun.

You needed to learn a coil pattern which premiated you for being consistent in the game and trying to get better and better. My style is a very aggressive rusher/flanking type and I feel disadvantaged in almost every way possible. People can hear me coming through buildings, I can’t see them due to no nameplates, I can’t counter it because dead silence literally has a mechanic where you hear when someone uses it so you know where they are coming from, the ttyl is so fast that even if they have bad aim i can’t win the gun fight due to having better gun skill. I have to actively force myself not to move in this game and it ends up just being boring. Hopefully they have 2v2 gunfight on a consistent basis lol.

In og cod's we had stock or stalker, for me as a rusher it was a complete necessity to have QuickDraw and stock/stalker, but now I can't, even with a SMG the movement is so bad, even if I dedicate all my attachments to movement speed I'm at significant disadvantage. MW3 did something similar where you could choose between Assault (killstreaks), Support (still kill-based, but the streak doesn't reset on death) and Specialist (perks unlocked through kills). I really liked this. The Assault and the Support streaks weren't all the same. both had UAVs, but the rest were varied with the Assault package having more deadly streaks. The Specialist package allowed you to choose 3 perks to earn through a killstreak with the all-perks bonus unlocking after a certain point (I dont remember how many kills it was), which allowed you to run around with every perk in the game (for as long as you lived).

I definitely agree with the mental thing because I remember in bo2 specifically hardpoint when I learned the spawns and anchor spots my contributions to the match tripled whether it was head glitch or anchor spots or ways to take people out of those key points. Back then I played on a 55 in plasma tv and had crappy apple headphones now with all the good equipment I don’t feel like I’m better because the better I do the more I get punished. I get skill based matchmaking but if I wanted to play good people every match I would play rank not pubs. The best part of pubs one match you’d pubbed stomped and another match you got recked and another match it was so so.

I can detect players from all around, not seeing on the mini-map or even knowing where they spawn. It does take alot of that metal game out of the picture. No need to learn the spawns because you already know where theyre going to come from anyways because the claps of their ass cheeks are giving them away at all times. I do completely agree with the sentiment that this game is made to give the casual crowd and extra cushion to fall back on, and to lower the skillgap. That's all this loud footstep addition really is. It's to give people that don't have good situational awareness a chance to fight back in a gunfight that otherwise wouldn't have happened because they didn't know about spawns, and high contension areas. I'd also add that the only reason COD is going this direction is purely for monetary gains, since it's no surprise that causals make a huge percentage of bundle sales. Make a game that makes these customers have a better impression of your game, and they'll buy more bundles. Money talks, and cod veterans walks. Despite this, I believe it will make for some interesting developments in the strategies for the aggresive playstyle, which in my opinon is the best way to play call of duty.

They nerfed slide cancelling because causals found it too hard to figure out, yet they made it harder to do, so those players that know cod and have 'outside of the box type of playstyles' will pick it up and find ways to easily do it, which will bring us back to square one where causals can't do what above average players can.

I think Marksman hit the nail on the head with his last video. A camper or "Sentinel 😂" can equip EOD, Battle Hardened, Restock and Ghost in combination with claymores, shock charge and trip mines if I'm not wrong. So there basically immune to everything or they need to miss their shots.

Also to add about map awareness, they literally tell you where the next hardpoint is on the minimap with 10-15 seconds left on the current hardpoint. What's the point of understanding the map rotations for the HP if if it literally tells everyone on the map? I remember in MW you could easily get a quick 15-20 points before anyone comes near the HP if you knew the rotations. This kinda ruins the game mode for me. Hopefully they change it back.

It just blows my mind that Infinity Ward stands it’s ground so hard on having to use your hearing instead of a radar and handicapping people. Especially for people who have hard hearing or are completely unable to hear. Like me, a person who decide to do call of duty irl and joined the Army, my hearing is all jacked up and I have tinnitus and I struggle with hearing shit the same way other people might find normal. No it's not dude, I keep hearing it from OGs like yourself, but it's just not true. Casuals just log in for a bit after work, turn their brain off for a couple hours, and log off. MW2022's new progression system shares attachments across weapons, but certain attachments can only be unlocked using certain weapons. This means that in order to unlock all the attachments for a single weapon, it would take 100s of hours, and casuals are not dedicated enough to pour all that time. MW19, CW and Vanguard were already grindy, but they've taken it to a whole new level with MW2022. They are catering to whales, neglected children and adult toddlers, that's their target audience. They're the best for boosting player retention and microtransaction sales for your game, and that's all that Bobby Kotick cares about.

Gave the beta a solid hour and being one of those that like to play super aggressively, especially in objective game modes, that hour was about all I could give for the beta tbh. It felt like I was being penalized for having the balls to move around the map. Also have to disagree on the statement of it being made for casuals. I’m 100% a casual player, sit anywhere between a .75 to 1 K/D on any CoD and I think it’s more meant for the players under my range. Believe this is a CoD I’m gonna skip and just stick to some older ones and MCC tbh.

If you “pros” find it so inconvenient to not use the mini map or have to listen to the in game audio instead of playing loud ass music in the background to be better than the “casuals”, then maybe its the pros that aren’t as good as they think they are. If the problems you guys talk about are regarding the feel of the game or how it’s not balanced or unrealistic, then that would make sense but all you “pros” keep talking about how you can’t see the dots on the mini map or how they removed slide canceling and added staged reloads as if these changes somehow help the casuals and only negatively affect the pros. Or are you guys implying that since you’re so used to looking at the mini map or slide/reload canceling it’s harder for you to unlearn your habits as opposed to new players who have never developed those habits? Even if that was the case, which it was for me, it didn’t take more than a couple of matches to get used to all the gameplay changes in this game. On the topic of UI though, it is absolutely abysmal. Although, I’m sure they will fix most bugs while navigating menus and stuff, I wish they didn’t have such confusing menus with some menus being vertical and some being horizontal and the gunsmith being a circle almost. And different levels of settings menus with sub-levels and sub-sub-levels and sub-sub-sub-levels. That’s the most disappointing part of the game for me since 2 weeks of the beta still didn’t get me used to it so it’s just bad design. I doubt they will make significant changes to that before the final release but I hope they do.

It amuses me how soberb are thos "pros". They just can't stand playing the game without the - as the videomaker states - "handicaps" that they can usually relly on other entrys of the franchise that fit they playstyle. How can someone possibly complain about COD finally having some qualitiy sound design? Or that now you´ll need to actually use some sound discipline and have some situational awarness to be effective in combat. Of couse, it´s not a perfect game, the UI needs some work asap, but in terms of gameplay, it´s fun as hell.

I think the reason I loved the first mw reboot was that they actually tried to make it a little more realistic than the older games and sound design was one of the things I didn’t even realize could’ve been so freaking great in a video game. I remember the sound of the desert eagle in king (gunfight) and was like damn this is amazing. Lol. I think people complained about the mount feature too at the beginning but they got used to it pretty quickly. I think these pros were just great at one cod game in the past and any diversion from that game’s mechanics or gameplay is suddenly an inconvenience or something because they realize they’re not even as good as some random 16 year old at this game because they’re so used to the older games. If you’re suddenly worse than some 16 year old that also started playing the same game at the same time then maybe you just haven’t figured it out as fast as the 16 year old. Lol. The perks system, the map display, and the guns to me are the worst thing about the game. The Multiplayer maps are mediocre at best. The lower score/kill streaks are the best one to choose from. It's actually amazing how you all hate on devs for not implementing features when you clearly haven't a clue on how development actually works, the time it takes to add things and the limitations you can end up facing. You all act like it's just simple, just add this or that. Do you even know how long it takes to implement some of the smallest UI changes? Something as simple as red dots on a map can take a lot longer than you think, and then once it's finished being coded, it needs to be tested, and the merged with the master code, and pray it doesn't break anything.

I love the explosive drone so much man I hope they don’t do anything to it. It has thermal, tells you where people are, and you explode it to kill people if you are close enough. I can see why sound isn’t a skill in cod with how slow of a shooter it is but in something like apex the amount of info footsteps and so on give you is unreal.
