I loved this era of gaming. Playing MW2, Gta IV and Left 4 Dead after a long week of school was amazing. No stress and gaming companies actually tried new things instead of milking everything til the last penny. Can't really see that same passion of triple A studios anymore. Red Dead 2 was one of the best games of this era though and can't wait for Dying Light 2 and The Forest 2

I remember the first day i played thus game. I came back to school, and immediatly had to go to my soccer practice. When i came back at 9 pm my parents surprised me with mw2 on my bed. I played until 2.am with friends. I still remember my first game, it was on Rundown and i used the famas lol... i had to go to school early in the morning, and on the playground at school everyone was talking about mw2.. when i came back to school I pretended to my parents that I was sick because I wanted to play so badly, that I had been cold during sports, that my stomach hurt and I wanted to vomit. I stayed two days at home, then it was the weekend... so I spent 5 days in a row on the xbox lol I was so happy... this game really had a crazy impact on a whole generation... only good memories...

I used to strictly play Gears of War 2 on Xbox live until a buddy of mine recommended MW2 shortly after it came out. I remember going to GameStop and having an internal debate as to whether or not this game would be 60$ well spent. Keep in mind i had not seen gameplay of any kind, i only had my friends word to decide rather or not i should buy the game. Needless to say, its easily the best 60$ ive ever spent. This game was EVERYTHING Back in the day. I'd do anything to experience this game for the first time again. All the memories and friendships this game helped me make is just the icing on top.
