No minimap on launch, Doors being added, footstep sounds being ridiculously loud, and dead silence only being a field upgrade blew me. Don't get me started on the FOV I swear it was lower than previous titles. Lastly the movement isn't even the best movement we've had in CoD but people act like it was.

The thing with MW19 is the game a camping simulator. Every other cod to that point you could play however you wanted. Rush, flank, camp, snipe doesn’t matter you could do good regardless. MW19 you’re punished for moving, and if you do good you get punished by matchmaking. If I want to play that campy try hard style I’ll just go to RB6. That’s a real tactical shooter. Then literally MW19 or BO6 have the worst maps I’ve ever played in a cod.

The fidelity for both games is amazing and Treyarch really put care into this year. Both games Foley is great as well. I think one of the reasons people are saying mw19 looks better is because of the exposure in lighting, which while looking great, didn’t translate the best for gameplay in the end.

I could legit run mw19 with rtx and still get 230 fps. with bo6 I'm only get 90 fps max and it doesn't even use raytracing. i get it has more detail, but you only improve that if the engine can actually handle it better than the old one did.

Ah yes the pervertible pit fall of call of duty graphics. I think people forget to mention the 2009 MW2 was basically peak COD graphics for like a decade. Sure the new gen had more polygons and stuff but everything in MW2 just looked better, from the character models to the weapons. I think it will probably be the same case with MW 2019, don't expect anything better for a while.

All post mw19 cods have less shadow,light and more colorfull palete because everyone complaint in the past the bad visibility in multiplayer mw19. The more colorful and “bad“ graphics in post mw19 cods are design choices if you want to compare the graphics you should compare the campaign from both, the developer put more lightning in that mode for cinematic feeling

@ imo MW2019 looks way more realistic, while the Black Ops games have always had a more stylized look to them which fits their arcade shooter gameplay I prefer the look of MW2019 but BO6 looks good too, it’s subjective which is better

Don’t care if it’s realistic, “does it look cool?” Is the question. I don’t care about little details that you have to go out of your way to find on a gun, like different guns have different sounds and it’s accurate to its real version. don’t care.

Eventhough I love BO6, I just don't get why despite using the upgraded version of MW19's engine, the new games just... can't look as good as MW19. MW19 already looks great on 1080p and you'll need atleast 2K to get the new games look atleast half decent from MW19. One thing is the implementation of AA is bad in the new games for having only utilizing upscaling methods instead of the traditional Filmic AA that MW19 had.

treyarch finally reached infinity wards level of detail. it was definitely a step back in CW going from MW19 but the games look great now. i thought the third person animations were great in mw19, without a third person mode, but now theyre crazy good in bo6 and it helps that there is third person in zombies.
