The sad reality is modders are never gonna go away, the 360 security is too far out of date, Microsoft couldn't even get rid of JTAGs a decade ago. Even now Activision can't fully fix RCE exploits on PC, so Xbox has no hope. The only real solution to preserving these Cods is to make a Cod version of the Halo MCC tbh. I think this is why these old Cods aren't on Game Pass yet, if they're barely playable there is no point adding them to their service.

Hackers are absolutely ruining this game. I played on the PS3 a few weeks ago and was planning on streaming it just for fun, but hackers just kinda ruin the whole experience, which doesn't make sense. Why would you purposefully turn away the base, so the player count continues to dwindle and soon enough, you won't be able to play at all anyway. But then again, hackers are not the sharpest tools in the shade, so I shouldn't expect any critical thinking from them. It's just a shame...

The worst part about the modders, i think, is you cant use shotguns proficiently. If it takes you 28 levels to earn the damage profiency, good luck not getting deranked before that point. I just want to use damage and range (specialist bonus) on the shotguns like the old days but modders ruined that.
