Mouse smoothing I would recommend turning off. It basically reduces your accuracy / consistency by smoothing out your mouse movements kind of like vsync. Think of it as vsync for your hand. It will make tracking look smoother because that's literally what it's doing, it's smoothing out your mouse. If you read the setting key tip it tells you that it's taking visual frames that have already passed and using them to make it appear smoother, which also loses precision in the end. The mouse aiming feels off in this game because of how this game handles gun sway. The gun sway doesn't start in the middle so when you aim in you're basically aiming in at a random place, even if your hip fire crosshairs are right on someone. Your zoomed in crosshairs will be in a different position, causing you to have to instantly start correcting your aim. Also when you strafe left and right it changes where your crosshair is as well. Your aim, in this game, is not based off of mouse and mouse movement alone. You're literally having to fight the game to be accurate, which is ridiculous, but I also assume it's to level out the playing field of m&k vs controller. This is also the same on controllers but it's less noticeable because of aim assist.

I completely understand all that, but Metaphor (a very seasoned KBM Warzone/COD player) recommended people try this and it genuinely makes the mouse feel better in this game.

@@FourEyesGames I agree. While watching this video I went and tried it and it does make it feel better because it smooths things out and makes your mouse visually less jittery. But I also noticed it had a pretty significant impact on my aim. I've played and competed in counter-strike and a few other fps games (not professionally) for 15 years and personally I could see the detriment the setting had on my own aim despite it making it feel significantly better. Also with a 240hz monitor I can see the visual difference when tracking and how the red dot moves. When turning the setting on and tracking the target dummy, then turning it off, it almost looked jittery to me with it off, however I definitely am more consistent with my aim. I would just put a disclaimer for people that it *can/will* change your aim and consistency by using the setting, and having it off is more precise, but having it on feels significantly better. Just note that there's a trade off with each setting.

That's the reason I usually have 2 attachments decreasing sway on my gun, I don't care if I'll have slow ass ads movement, I think it's worthy since I prefer to take ranged fights.

I'd say if you have a burst class you're running at the time have it on, if not just simple turn it off, and also you can favorite up to like 10 setting and that could help doing so instead of looking for it forever. Just some tips.

Yeah, no that yellow doesn't stand out more for someone with normal color sight. The yellow blends in more. Red is better. But it just needs to be more opaque and bolder.

Not all single shot weapons are slowed down with changing the setting from tap to hold. Try it on the longbow sniper for example.

That burst gun fire is insanely helpful. Its hard to stay on target while tapping fast for me. My go to for graphics and now gameplay it seems. Slide only shoulve been on there as well imo

Some nice tips there thanks, can I ask a favour, when playing zombies on Mw3 to cancel a contract you have to open your map first then press and hold B for 3 seconds by default is there a way of changing this to make it easier when playing in tier 3 zone thanks..

Major correction! For the auto bursr setting it doesnt camp your fire rate, it just defaults you to a lower fireate if you oversample the trigger. So with practice you can fire nearly as fast without it if u get the fire rate for the gun ur using down. Also I dont think the auto burst is maximum speed for the guns. I tested with the m16 and your bust delay is shorter if you leave in on "press mode". As for the MW3 guns im not 100% sure, but the m16 definitelt fires slower in "hold" setting due to the longer burst delay.

It might be a skill issue but on manual I cannot for the life of me, match how fast the auto fire is on the Dg58. I was vsing another player with this setting on while I didn't and literally looked for an attachment that increased fire rate or trigger reaction time (which there isnt). The difference is nearly a full extra burst 2:3 (3 being with the setting) from my experience. I don't consider myself to have a bad trigger finger either, I play a ton of osu so I'm used to quick and repetitive taps.

If I want to slow down my walk. I just ADS and Aim-walk instead. Too bad the hold for burst messes up single fire guns. Or I'd use it. But I use Marksman rifles and sometimes you have to level guns etc.

The mouse smoothing really is just mouse lag, due to it relying on previous frame data. The "jitter" or whatever is literally just how well you can smoothly control your mouse. If your aim is stuttering on completely raw mouse input, then it's either your mouse or your aim. If you really insist on using mouse smoothing, I wouldn't go anywhere past 1.

To slide cancel you can use whatever button you’ve assigned to sprint/tact sprint/focus (single tap run enable) no more worries of jumping on things you don’t want to.

Don't change the fire setting that was on the thumbnail. Keep it at press. It actually defaults to a paced fire rate as opposed to the fastest fire rate. I tried this on most weapons, and the pressed option is so much superior. Like he said, it only works for bursts gun and how often are you using burst guns?

You can still single fire fast with the hold setting, you just need to have consistent splits or it will hang up. I just tried with the G-45

Faster splits means faster follow up shots but its important to keep it consistent if you try using the "hold" setting or it will hang up on you. Personally I don't use it because I don't like burst guns -even though the DG is still OP. I have a very fast trigger finger so its not worth it to me.

I was hoping the hold setting could make them viable like in codm since they have shitty 5 or 6 shot damages as if their fire rates were full auto. @@watevr4evr Are you on MnKB or Controller? if you're on PC you can basically ride the reset of your left click like how people ride the trigger's reset (on a good trigger) IRL to get a fast ROF. Otherwise on controller I think they have trigger stops you can put in, or you can flip your fire and aim from L2 & R2 to L1 & R1 so its faster (trigger vs button) Edit: You want to go as fast as you can without basically "bump firing" or jitter clicking it and having poor accuracy. It helps to start slow and then pick up the pace when practicing until you start bump/jitter firing it. Edit 2: I also use the G-45 and with the lightning trigger or the other fast triggers its actually crazy in game. It can out damage ARs and even battle rifles in the right ranges...

@niaSni99 gyro controller. I already use the buttons. Yeah the cor45 is ok till you get leg shots, same with the 9m daemon and x12. And a shit ton of full autos too, but that's not as bad as semi autos since even with the fastest triggers heightening the fire rate on paper, the pistols themselves are still semi auto, and weak/about as strong as full autos with the added detriment of humans just not being able to consistently hit the fire rate limit in order to make the ttk viable. Sure you could train and practice it while adjusting your finger to an odd position to help shoot faster, or even the whole hand the moment you pull out the pistol or whatever, maybe have 3rd party mods. Or maybe the game can be good out of the box. Unrelated but i tried the setting today, idk if i just never noticed it or what but after switching from a daemon to the expidite there's like a full second or 2 when the gun just wouldn't shoot. Often giving the enemies i pulled it out on all the time they needed to ads and fully kill me before i even fired. Shitty delays and realistic trigger mechanics are shitty. Bonus edit, you can press the weapon switch button and immediately ads after holding a knife, and spam ads for when the gun comes out, and your character can stab pretty much till forever before he decides to pull out a gun, the initial input.
