I don't think men actually "fear" women since women seemingly don't inherently have any real power. Rather, what men fear is what the men who run society can do to them if they don't comply with the standards and norms that have been put in place by those men in power. From what I see, any power that women claim to have was given to them by the men in power.
@navytanutrof1823
@navytanutrof1823 2 жыл бұрын
Agree. The proof is look at what's going on in Afghanistan. When men of a culture decides to not give women power there is nothing these women can do. For them to be feminists they need an army and the law behind them and men to uphold those laws. You don't make law to protect the strong, you make law for the weak. That's why we have laws to protect children and women.

@HelloKitties Which is weird because what kind of man in this day and age would want to defend the culture of modern day feminism when it works against men's interests any every way? Why do so many men accept this culture? My idea is that the people in the highest positions of power made it this way to make our society weak and easy to control, but I could be wrong; what are your thoughts?

Irreconcilable differences means just that ."I was tired of being married ,I wanted to go see what's out there ." Storytime: I have been working overseas off and on the past decade. I met a elderly African-American woman ex-pat, in her late 60s, last year, living in Istanbul, Turkey. Intellectually, she was brilliant, fluent in Russian, French, Turkish and Kurdish! She spent her 30s, 40s, and 50s traveling the world working in development and education, and having plenty of "romantic" international lovers over the decades. Unable to settle down, incapable of submitting to any man- Russian, Turk, African or Arab. But the past couple of years have been tough. Work overseas is drying up for women her age. She lost her last teaching job and translation job during the pandemic. She also broke her leg and was dependent on friends (like me) and neighbors to get errands done. Her health is getting worse with age and she is living in a crappy apartment in a bad neighborhood in Istanbul. In her prime (30s, 40s) she had PLENTY of chances to settle down with a man, but she's too feisty, stubborn, combative, and no matter how "brilliant" you might be intellectually, no man wants to put up with that from a woman. Not even a Kurdish tribesman! This Black woman is going to die alone overseas.

@ss 😂😂😂 the fallacy of a strong African woman. Otherwise substantiate your claim. If you work hard and never see the men working you are excused. I have been to a few African countries, African myself, most of the work outside the home is done by men. If a woman assumes that by doing home chores is more work that is asinine. Most African men bring the money back home. I have seen men earn their money, start a business or the woman brings a business idea and it is financed by the man. This is even more common among military homes. Plus there is an active wave of "affirmative action" for women although not called so. They lower the standards and that I have seen that first hand. Assuming that that elevation and promotions are on merit is ridiculous. Cooperate men talk about it all the time.

For the women who'd rather be feared than loved, keep in mind that men generally tend to avoid and/or seek to destroy (if the threat is big enough) the things that we fear. And a man's biggest fear where marriage is concerned is that the woman will drag him into court, divorce him, take half of everything he worked for, take his children away from him and leverage them for monthly checks from him for 18 years.

Why do we have some nameless and faceless folk in the chat room, that get off on denigrating their own? Not only is it disrespectful but it's sad and discouraging.
