Ayyy welcome to my hell, I only enjoy fps games but none of the game companies have the balls to make a risk so all we get is CoD vanguard, because there were totally handheld miniguns in world war 2, they didn’t even try handheld mg42s as an option (which would still be dumb, but at least it wouldn’t be a literal mini gun). This is why tf2 still has a passionate fanbase and CoD kinda just has… well I was gonna say rule34 but it doesn’t even have much of that.

@@moister3727 It's not that believable. I mean, nazis were just young people that were forced into being what they were because of the condition their country was in. They were also way too fanatized in their ideology, and history has proven multiple times that fanatism leads to crimes. Just like the British Empire and the USSR under Stalin's rule. Nazis were fanatics of an extreme ideology, but they were still human. Wolfenstein portrays them as total monsters with no human side, and I think that it's kinda too extreme. For example, they wouldn't make a movie where the actors actuall get killed. Because they already made a movie irl, a propaganda movie that showed the citizens of Berlin succesfully defending their city, against the French led by Napoleon. And I doubt that people actually died in the process of faking this altered historical event in the form of a movie. I am personally am against the nazi ideology, for the same reason that I am against Stalinism, Fascism and Anarchy: they are all extreme ideologies. But despite that, I respect all ideologies, and if I was the developers, I would do my hardest to portray them accurately based on examples of their actions. Also, we have to take into consideration that Wolfenstein is set in the 90s, which means that a long time has passed since ww2. And I think that after the initial shock of the collapsing Germany, the Germans, since they are now thriving, would have no reason to be so extreme or fanatic anymore, so in my opinion, the nazis, after winning ww2, would have calmed down over time, instead of becoming even more fanatic and agressive.
