Billy - I love the parable of the laborers in the Vineyard and think that story is a perfect companion to the thief on the cross with Christ, who recognizes Christ’s divinity, at literally the end of the day, and still receives the reward of eternal life. I find two lessons there: He who comes late to the work has the same reward as someone who has followed Christ for much longer. And secondly, as long there is breath in the body, it is never too late to receive Christ and be admitted into His Kingdom. The wage is the wage.

thanks Billy for these stories and how you can bring God and Christianity into them and how God brings people into your life at times so unexpectedly and change your outlook towards God, its just go's to show how God is working within us at all times and leading the way if we will just let him in.

Thanks again, I listen to these as I work and is so nice to know that other Christian go through so many trials and how we learn from them. Always learning and improving. I heard in a pod cast that we are in training and never a finished project . That is so true just as in other aspects of life , we train for a hunt , we train to become a better Christian! Thanks again from northern Mn !!

I started watching your videos Billy about a year ago, and I got to say I get very excited every time you post a new one, as a boy growing up on a dairy farm and growing up trapping and hunting with my brothers I had some of the same dreams you had and can identify alot with your intro to your videos, I dream of one day hunting moose in Alaska and want to make that happen one day. Love the real prospective you give on hunting Alaska through your videos, definitely better than anything you will see on the outdoor channel. Keep them coming and keep the faith Brother!

I think hearing this and comparing it to other forms of life makes sense. But I don't understand (yet) how it applies in my life. I know through prayer and reading the bible more will make a difference. Thank you for your video and your word's to express. Apache

It's amazing to listen to the experiences you've had, as I have had similar experiences here in Australia and it brings back memories for me , and helps answer questions I have asked myself for years . I have had to humble myself to the point of saying "jesus take the wheel" because I have had to learn that it's not done by my power , it's done by gods power-will and timing. Thank you for sharing billy Keep going

Amen, Billy. Your prayer tonight was perfect for a fellow Christian who is as you say “dismayed”. I am concerned and somewhat disheartened at the events and division in our country. Thank you for your insight and your prayer tonight. It gave me something else to focus on instead of my worldly concerns. I am 63 and each year I get older I realize how much I don’t know verse how much I do know. I pray for the Johnson’s for healing and comfort, and for you and your family. May god watch over you and yours. Thanks again, your brother in Christ. Steve G.

I enjoyed much of this. To myself....not much into the bible stuff. Do not get me wrong. I certainly have no issues with anyone preaching their beliefs. Just struck me a but strange. No matter what....great story earlier and sad you had a client like you did.🇺🇸

Thank you very sincerely for this video. Your explanation and insight are deep enough to be commended. I have thought almost all of the things you have touched on, from buying into the hype to being almost... no-- absolutely heartbroken at taking the life of an amazing creature so I can eat... You are a great man, not because you are such an accomplished guide, hunter, trapper, storyteller, etc., but because you would NEVER point out how awesome you really are. THAT keeps me coming back for all your next videos, and I would consider it the high point of my life if I could ever go on a hunt with you. (Please pray for winning lottery ticket for me so I can realize my dream!) God bless you, sir, for being such a good example. Spot on!

Thanks Billy, your authenticity and honesty shines through, with or without the computer. I think we have all been both the hunters/people you talk about today and a timely reminder such as this always helps put the brakes on the first and hopefully brings forth the latter.

Ya know sir, I can't say I'm a big religious man. Normally I don't like this kinda thing on these videos. I must say that the story of your hunter Mark was quite touching. In possibility a bad analogy, I likin it to almost a Forrest Gump type person. Completely trusting to the pure basics in life that most of us are afraid to do. Long story short, that was well done!

Bill, please ask Mark to comment on this video. I would like to hear his take on the experience. Long story short, as a bodybuilder, and WI hunter, I like lean, natural meat and harvest a few deer a year. Last year, in an intensive harvest zone with alot of doe tags, the state wanted does harvested so I harvested two does. I took pictures of huge bucks within 100 yards and said "I got ya". My buddies all ask how big a buck I shot and i explain to them and they don't get it. They are out for record book recognition as well. I like experience of the hunt; the beauty of the environment, the outdoor experiences and things you actually see with your own eyes, the equipment, the roughness, the drive needed, staying in shape, etc. all of it. Some just do not get it.

Great video!! Whether you realize it or not, you impacted both of those hunters. In different ways. I have a feeling hunter number one will realize it sometime in the future. The parable you read speaks of Christ’s salvation and his willingness to give it to whomever truly seeks it. Whether you’ve served him all your life, or you truly find him in your last hour. It is his salvation to give to those who truly seek it. I hope to hunt with you someday and will elaborate further. God bless and keep you!

Amen brother. “You know he’s going to miss!” 😁Of course he is. A guy like that, that claims to be religious is why this is so confusing to me. I’ve seen and been around people that are talking about church and God and then observing their behavior have to wonder if they really are a Christian just because they say so. They act anything but. On the other hand I know friends that don’t necessarily believe in God but are very decent people. At least in my eyes they are if that means anything. So many questions I have. Is it as easy as saying, “I don’t want to be on the wrong side of that?” I’ve thought that same thing many times.

John, if you have a Bible read Mathew chapter 7 verses 15-23 it talks about by a persons fruit you will know Christ followers. Because Jesus also said "Not everyone who says Lord Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven" Unfortunately there is many people today who say they are Christian but there life doesn't line up with what they profess. However at the same time I dont feel it is our duty to say so and so is not a Christian because he or she did or said this or that. God is the only one who knows and sees the heart of men and the only Judge of the world. But I do believe we can know in our spirit by a individuals fruit wether or not they are a child of God, and obviously we will only know that with a deeper than just casual relationship with such an individual.
