Exactly - I just watched this video, and being a lifelong "spelling guru" (being the great-granddaughter, granddaughter, daughter, and aunt of educators, its basically a "blood feature," not a "bug!") that word caught my eye immediately. But, since your talents obviously lie in the realm of jewelry, and possibly not spelling, which is perfectly fine, I just dropped by to make sure that the "i" was included! 😉 Everybody gets to make a few typos these days, since this is not an English Class!! 👩🏫 Love that ring!! It's perfectly sized for the stone, and likely for the wearer, since it was already quite small, and worn so much that it's down to the point of breaking the shank! And in yellow gold which has that (what looks like to me) Florentine finish, both of which were very popular in the 1970s, and into the early 80s. I remember seeing rings made exactly like that in the popular mail order catalogs of that time - Sears, Montgomery Wards, Service Merchandise, etc., - since I married in 1976, and did a lot of catalog shopping, looking for style ideas for our wedding rings. 😊😄😁 Very nice work. I hope the customer was quite pleased with their newly "dainty-ized" ring!

It's the writer's prerogative - one might even say duty - to invent new words. We have words like assassinate thanks to Shakespeare. I might have gone for dantified, but danty-ized works.

That original ring must have been much loved for there to be wear on the sapphire, they are almost as hard as diamonds. It makes me happy that it will get to be continued to be loved in its new setting 😊

Wow when you said musicians I didn't realize you had an orchestra outside lol - the shop is beautiful!
@janinebean42763 жыл бұрын
It’s a jazz band! :) fun fact, orchestras always have string sections, as in violins, violas, cellos, double bass, not just a bass and a guitar, in a jazz band, that’s part of the rhythm section along with the drums and piano. I would be SO pumped for this to be outside my window!
@lindapindabelinda35703 жыл бұрын
Much improved. With stones that tiny, it definitely needs a dainty setting. I’m guessing that there was some huge sentimental value to the piece because that’s a lot of work for such tiny stones.

I had a ring kind of like this I inherited from my Oma, it was beautiful, with a smaller blue stone (sapphire maybe?) in the middle, white stones around it (could be white sapphires) in kind of a pointy halo formation. Except I have skinny fingers and I went to have it resized, and the inside was made of LEAD! and they had already punctured the gold so I can’t wear it with a little resizing device or something, I was so sad. I think I’m going to try to buy something somewhat similar later.

Could you recreate a ring from photos? My grandmother’s ring, that she gave my mom the day I was born which my mom gave me 18yrs ago when my first was born. It was part of my jewelry that was stolen when my house was broken into. I would absolutely do anything to have you remake it for me. I tried to look at your website but it’s not a engagement ring. It was a simple heart with a starburst. Please if there’s anyway I could talk with you about it and possibly have you make it I’d absolutely do anything. I love your work 🙏❤️
