"Oh, I'm Tudor now! I'd better change my shoes." What a fantastic way to make the point.

Love Dr Eleanor Janega. She’s smart, funny, engaging and knowledgeable. Anyone lucky enough to either have her as a guest or listen to her through any medium is always in for a treat. Great show, thank you.

Listening to this I thought that the more things change the more they stay the same. This was thought provoking. Thank you for the discussion.

Love your work Jason! Would you ever consider having Jonathan Pageau on? He is an iconogropher and symbolist and he often talks about Medieval worldview, art, customs etc. I think it would be a fantastic discussion

Hello Jason , I’m so delighted to have found your channel and this part of your channel of podcasts which focuses on having these interviews with these most amazing historians which most of them I follow on History Hits. Jason, you are amazing and thank you for the work you do and I’m so glad that I have more interesting history to listen to! These interviews are so beautifully done because they’re so genuine and authentic in their presentation. It’s like being a fly on the wall and overhearing a fascinating conversation between two intelligent, and dear friends 😊

I love these talks that explode the myths & misinformation about the past. Often history is more fascinating than fiction.

I was.. listening ... and when they started talking about church and stuff.. and battles I thought about our hussites.. and then they went to the same topic.. I was actually happy.. to know people know about our past too xd it is a bit cool that other nations know about our Žiška.. and crusades trying to destroy us while failing miserably for quite a bit.

I rather admire how you both keep your biases to a minimum. That made the analysis more palatable.

One thing you two didn't mention was, the Rules Of War. You talked about how that act attacker Agincourt would be A Criminal Act In War, BUT waht Ab9ut, The Timings That Battle COULD Take Place. Like From Sun-Up TO Sun-Down ONLY, AND The REASON FOR THAT Rule!!! Wasn't that a Rule in some Relgious Text? Or is that my imagination

The Romans were no good with chronic back pain? Wait until jousting and falling from horses and combat and all the other crazy things you do catch up to you and see how well modern medicine deals with chronic back pain. (I'm not intending to harsh on you, just that there is plenty modern medicine still does quite poorly.)
