There’s a parking garage in downtown Louisville in Kentucky called the LG&E parking garage. It has 2 Otis Series 1 Elevonic 401 traction elevators.

It was modded long ago in the late 90s by Montgomery KONE with Innovation Universal call stations and Innovation Security car fixtures.

How can you tell an elevator was a different brand after they are modded?

There’s certain things to look for.

@@statecollegewx4060 Door track, vents, interlocks, old key switches in certain places (if the modernizer didn't rip them out), etc.

@@statecollegewx4060 Yeah, typically you'll see surface mounted call stations which are panels that stick out of the wall quite a bit. In most cases those are mods.
