Finally!!!! Someone who is willing to do a step by step and not skip anything. Please continue to do so when you begin the rearend suspension as well. Love the vids.👍👍👍👍

Thanks very much. I have done most of the first fit on the rear suspension already (modified Ford 8.8) with a stepnotch. I'm currently rebuilding a 4L65e transmission but when I get back to the rear I will be sure to get a video made.

I'm doing the same exact thing to my 51' ford truck. I'm cutting it down 6" narrower between the back bed and the rear fenders. It's a short bed already, but it looks long.

Good luck with your project. The 51 is a great little truck to work on. I had to replace all of the fenders and bed on mine due to excessive rust.

Hello i own 7 of these trucks and would like to help you by correctly explaining a few of things wrong i see without sounding like a internet troll. When doing all your bearing use wheel bearing grease its heavier and meant for wheel bearings. Place a blob on your heel of palm and push fat side into it to the skin forcing it to squeeze out narrow end. Friction is heat and the grease liquidity matters.
