Modernizing Tractor and Seeder Techniques | Carpathian Countryside Farm | FS 22 | Timelapse #02

Welcome back to the Carpathian Countryside Farm Timelapse. Prior to commencing our tasks, let us begin by thoroughly cleaning and giving a fresh coat of paint to our VALTRA 8750 tractor. Subsequently, we will attach a spreader trailer to it, while also connecting a mounted spreader to the ZETOR CRYSTAL HD170 tractor. Our next destination is the store, where we will procure lime and granular fertilizer to fill our equipment.
Initially, we will distribute the lime across the fields to enhance soil quality, followed by the application of fertilizer. This was our approach for tending to two fields subsequent to the wheat harvest. Prior to commencing the sowing process, we will upgrade our sowing equipment. To accomplish this, we will sell the old planters equipped with power harrows, and instead, invest in a new Case IH Concord Air Drill System. Since this seeding system requires a robust tractor, we will also sell the CASE IH 2588 and acquire a K-700 tractor.
Once we have loaded the seeder with fertilizer and seeds, we will proceed to the first field to sow barley. This process be repeated on another field.

Ok... Lime before cultivation make sense, i agree... But is it ok to fertilize before seeding, or it's doesn't matter?)

Cultivating after fertilizer allows the fertilizer to go under the soil so that the fertilizer is thrown for the root, where I live, we add fertilizer to the soil with a seeder before the rice is planted.😊
