I love that, rather than trashing the paint job verbally and physically (lol,) you preserved a bit of its original personality. That, along with recycling parts from other furniture, shows the respect you have for these items and how serious you are with restoration and preservation, and I think that's really rad.

@@Tenebarum I know, I was thinking from the beginning that I wish you could keep the colors, but lose the texture. It looks amazing from far away, but close up the paint would feel tacky and the texture would pick up grime, the sticking drawers would be unusable, the paint would flake and my cat would insist on eating the chips that fall from it, etc. I don't suppose there's a way to pour furniture paint, and have a better finish? The finished piece was gorgeous though.

This was shot and edited to PERFECTION. I was vibin the WHOLE time. And what you did with that paint and resin at the end? JUBILATION. I was so grateful.

That turned out beautifully. And I love how you framed the sheet of paint that came off the top. It is actually beautiful as an art piece, and a great idea to show what the dresser used to look like. Good job!

I’m sitting on my bed with my bright light cross stitching a Heaven and Earth design called Little Tommy Tittermouse. I’m 71 now and I suppose it’s going to take me till I’m 75 to finish it. I am also making a quilt and have 220 hst pieces sewn and need to do 395 in total. I do enjoy all the things you create. It’s so much fun.

The paint that peeled off the top piece looks like something that one friend who never gets given a blanket would use as a blanket at a sleepover

WOW! I think we can safely assume that the person who poured the paint on it was very, very high. What a restoration. I adore the colour most of all.

Ahhhh the visceral satisfaction I felt as you peeled that top layer off was next level. You Sir, are the Gold Standard that other furniture restorers can only hope to emulate. As an acrylic & resin artist I was impressed that you took the time to frame it too! I remain, in a constant state of awe, with every video I watch ♥️

The new veneer gives this piece a light modern look but it's the bold handles that transform it into a design exemplar. Beautiful work, well done you!

Blown away. Great idea using picture frame stock as drawer pulls, and though I'm not generally a fan of abstract art, I had exactly the same idea for the top. And it actually works! Cheers.

Absolutely stunning and the fact you made the paint job top into a painting to go with it aesthetically is absolutely incredible! 100/10 for me, keep up the awesome work! ❤
