Holy Diver by Dio shows on the screen - respect! Great choice

I'm picking up one exactly like this on Friday in Nashville! And then driving back to WI. I'm going to paint the calipers to match the car. I'm going to get rid of the obnoxious antenna. And I will be adding a real rear spoiler! Oh I forgot hood struts too. Maybe a cold air intake?

For info, Ford sequential taillights are not new -- Thunderbirds had them in the 60's.

Hey Buddy, Very nice videos of your channel. Good and neat work. I am in the dilemma of considering if i should go with a 2019 GT convertible or Coupe. I am staying in UAE. My concerns are the 8months of heat + dust. If the rag top is cleanable, will it fade and all. It would be great if u could give me some suggestion with respect to it. Thanks in Advance Rohit

Hi Rohit, Soft top is definitely cleanable/washable. I'd go with the convertible as it offers flexibility to do the open-air drive when you feel like it, opposed to the fixed roof coupe. To me, the Mustang looks gorgeous with the top down; the coupe looks too round for my liking/preference. For me, having the option between the roof up or down would push me to buy a convertible over a coupe. Let me know what you decide to do. Be well! Jay

How is the wind noise with the top up at various speeds?
@Modern.Motoring4 жыл бұрын
Hi Chuck, It's surprisingly quiet given it's a soft top. From my experience with it , I'd give it a B+ overall.

Nice review. Can you review the 2017-2020 Camaro ZL1 and 2015-2020 Dodge Challenger Hellcat in upcoming videos?

For that much money, to have to get put and manually put the plastic caps in for when the roof is down is not only unforgivable, but shows really poor engineering and corner cutting.

Definitely an inconvenience. I've had convertible Mustangs the last four years and every model has had those plastic caps that need to be manually put in/on. Here's hoping the next full redesign will fix that.

My 2004 Z4 has the perfect top...one button up...one down and no goofy plastic deals. The Mustang top is still much better than say a Saturn Sky or Pontiac Solstice. Those tops were after-thoughts with very poor designs.

Blake Swan I think if you watch again when he is putting the top up/down, you will find the engineering is very good with this convertible top with the way it folds away and allows for a very good sized usable trunk. I do agree the caps are unacceptable at this price point, but I would put that down to design flaw/weakness, that is likely down to cost constraints. Just my thoughts on it.

Not bad engineering, it's a recall to the past. Call it tradition...
