For only a little over 3k subs, the production is so classy compared to all the other car review try hards. This channel hits different 💯

Excellent video, James! Your praise and criticisms for this car are accurate. I have a ’21 GT Premium convertible w/10AT, 401A pkg, leather interior, B&O sound with 12 spks and subwoofer but no magneride and no performance pkg. I absolutely love it, but you’re right to point out that it’s not an AMG because it’s not SUPPOSED to be an AMG. For $50k, it does everything it’s supposed to do very well! The AT that I got (so I could have ACC) is good but a little slow-shifting in spots. I’ve learned to adapt my acceleration to hit the sweet spot on gear changes. I didn’t get the performance options because I’m not taking it on the track or drag strip. I use it for road trips. After all, the GT stands for “gran turismo” (grand touring) so I use it for touring the beautiful USA. Nevertheless, the exhaust system does produce just the right amount of obnoxiousness. :-)
@RDYOUTUBE542 жыл бұрын
Slow shifting? What spots are those because I've had many sports cars and unless you get a dct that transmission shifts faster than most. You guys do realize that there are different drive modes right? And that it will shift faster depending on what mode you're in. This kid is driving around using paddle shifters doing 20-30mph and trying to upshift without being on the gas pedal. Most standards don't e even like that.

I've got an 18 gt auto and I agree with you about the 10 speed. A tune fixed all that Learning the car solves that as well. They're a riot to drive!!

Awesome review Jim. I'm a Corvette guy and I've owned quite a few, especially the C7's. Your review was my deciding factor to go drive one and my wife and I did. We ended up buying a loaded up Twister Orange with the 10-spd. It's virtually the same thing as the 10-spd in my 19 ZL1 convertible. The Mustang won't be in for another 8 weeks as we ordered it how we wanted. Thanks for the great review !

I was wondering if I should pick a convertible, and you mentioning how nice it is to hear the exhaust with the top down has set my opinion to go with the convertible. Also, really great production quality and overall atmosphere. Thanks for the review!

You're missing out on capabilities of this car. The handling on windy mountain roads, canyon roads, twisty switch-backs, VERY comparable to the SUPERB handling characteristics of a BMW 3-series. Very buttoned down, very connected. I took a standard turbo 4 convertible to the back roads of Pennsylvania, AND THE HANDLING COMPARED VERY WELL to my 2011 BMW 3-series. The latest Mustangs are excellent handling cars, without question.

I really luuuuv this car, I wish Ford could have more options on the interior colours tho, the traditional black seats are boring, you can't have almost every colour with black seats.
@JamesSalvatore4 жыл бұрын
For the most part they should definitely experiment with more
@ErrolSlovak244 жыл бұрын
My opinion, I don't really focus much on the seating. It's comfy, but still looks nice in a way. It blends with the exterior.

I would definitely opt for the manual...BUT that 10R80 is objectively better built and demonstrably faster. The MT-82 is notorious for shift fork failure and gear lockouts. Ford obviously couldn't fit in a Tremec manual at the GT price point.
@JamesSalvatore4 жыл бұрын
Yeah either way I think even with the manual that comes with the GT your better off than with the 10 speed if you like to drive spiritedly

Hey James, Very nice videos of your channel. Good and neat work. I am in the dilemma of considering if i should go with a 2019 GT convertible or Coupe. I am staying in UAE. My concerns are the 8months of heat + dust. If the rag top is cleanable, will it fade and all. It would be great if u could give me some suggestion with respect to it. Thanks in Advance Rohit
