Same thing im wondering I see all these vid talk about the hook up to the panels but never to the breaker box. What size wire what size wire ect. From what i can tell you dont need combiner boxes but what about disconnect ?

What happens if you over produce more than your consumption. Without a net metering agreement how are preventing sending power back to the grid

Curious if this Hoymiles unit shares a single MPPT across the panels it manages, which can lead to current mismatch problems under certain conditions (shading). Do you know? Example of Current Mismatch: Let’s say you have two panels connected to a single Hoymiles HMS-2000 microinverter: Panel A is unshaded and can produce 400W. Panel B is partially shaded and can only produce 200W. In this situation, the microinverter will adjust the operating point to match the performance of the weaker (shaded) panel, causing the unshaded panel (Panel A) to operate at a lower power level than it could under optimal conditions. This is the current mismatch issue.

It's doing really good so far. But my mom's 6k growatt is in the middle of being replaced with another 6k growatt the another one had code 61 and would not clear or update. Video coming out soon on that. By my 12k Growatt and batteries been working fine.
