Eric Tagg was the original vocal on this song that reach #15 on Billboards Hot 100 in 1981. Lee Ritenour is the guitarist. The cowriters were Ritenour, Bill Champlin of Chicago fame and Tagg.

Lee Ritenour is a killer jazz guitarist and is widely reknown in the guitar community. Try Ritenour's 'Lagrima'. It is gorgeous.

I have this song by Lee Rittenour, but Eric Tagg is the lead singer on the record. I have the 45 single. Was this recorded later with Phil Perry on lead?
