they sell lures for animal trapping that are truly foul. I was part of a wildlife research project where we had to trap Fishers (a large cat-sized weasel) for radio collaring, and the lure we used was called "gusto" and was basically fermented skunk glands. we stored it in a bottle, which was sealed in a jar, which was vacuum packed in plastic, wrapped in bubble wrap, inside a cardboard box, and you could still smell it through all those layers of packaging.
