TheBouncers I 100% agree. I actually liked the sound of the “Good News” album. I wish they would’ve released more material around 2003-2006, maybe it would’ve had a similar sound.

Modest Mouse are one of my favourite bands but for some reason you just can’t beat the album versions of their songs. I don’t think their music translates well to live performances at all! I saw them live once and remember being really disappointed. Their albums must take a lot of mixing because there’s just so much going on in their music!

That's kinda what I got out of it, Except we're suppose to have free will/choice, but then we are damned to internal damnation for revelling in It and enjoying bliss and enjoying life. Therefore it isn't freewill, because you' re being chastise at the end by the all watching eye in the sky. I don't agree with God gives you life and takes it back statement though 100%. More like god supposedly gave you free will, but he's mad at you for not making the right choices. Which means god isn't a unconditional lover, but only loves you if you do what he says. Which is a Christian thing, Jews don't believe in hell or afterlife per say like Christians, they got that from the Romans/pegans.
