Modest Mouse Tutorials #1 (Bankrupt on Selling, Trailer Trash, Missed the Boat)

I've received a few requests for simplified tutorials of some Modest Mouse songs. In this video I cover "Bankrupt on Selling", "Trailer Trash", and "Missed the Boat." Each of these songs is fairly easy and shouldn't be too hard for beginners for learn with a little practice. I can definitely do more tutorials like this for other Modest Mouse songs if anybody is interested. Just let me know. I'd be glad to help you learn any of the following songs:

Those are the only ones I know off the top of my head, but if you'd like to learn others not included on that list I'm sure I can manage that as well. There are probably other tutorials already available on youtube, but who knows how correct they are ... I've seen some pretty crappy tabs online for MM songs so I'm just going by that.

this legit helped out a lot as i looked for tabs and said EM7 was in there but most people are saying its not needed and looking for a strumming pattern is basically the same as i learned: ddudu

So I know this video is almost ten years old and this is not a reasonable request but I really loved your Interstate 8 cover you did a while back and then I came across this video in my suggestions today where you are listing songs in the description that you could make tutorials for: you want to do some more Modest Mouse tutorials? There are four chords played at the beginning of the song, but the 3rd chord is a C and they 4th is pretty much a C as well, a barre chord yes. But I just simplified it since they were basically the same chord. But I think for the rest of the song it's mainly just the 3 chords. Thanks for pointing that out though, I almost forgot how the beginning was slightly different.

On bankrupt on selling, Issac actually doesn't use a F-Major bar chord. He plays an F-Major 7 with the high E string open, his index finger on the first fret of the B string, middle finger on the second fret of the G string, ring finger on the third fret of the D string, and the low E and A strings muted. (Like this) --|--|--|--| -*|--|--|--| --|-*|--|--| --|--|-*|--| x|x|x|x| x|x|x|x| You can watch him play the song live if you don't believe me :p It seems like a small thing but it really changes the sound of the chord progression; makes it sound more melancholic!

Instead of using an F chord there I like to use Cmaj7, hammering on the first fret on the B string. Sounds good too.
