the craziest part is the final mission, where in the setup cinematic they tell you that ghost will be on the adjacent rooftop to provide cover fire, and he proceeds to never help you, especially at the end when you're trying to diffuse a missile and have several enemies around you, while you are unarmed.
@soapmactavish53552 жыл бұрын
Exactly! And why was he the only person on that chopper? It wouldn’t hurt to add a few more soldiers
@rangertato2 жыл бұрын
@@soapmactavish5355 I do think over all it was a good story, but I feel like a few elements, like the one above were very contrived to try and fit what kind of gameplay the devs wanted to have rather than following the story coherently, like wtf was kate even on that random ass boat in the ghillie mission, if she doesn't even do anything that couldn't be done from a command post 2000km away
@soda57302 жыл бұрын
What about when you need to destroy Graves and then tank and Rodolfo just stands in one of the buildings doing absolutely nothing? But yes, the final mission is ridiculous. I gave up on the crafting and just crawled under the table in the middle with the tarpaulin over it to hack the missile. The enemies knew I was there but couldn't actually shoot me. They threw Molotovs on the table but I was unharmed. All they kept doing was throwing stupid insults!

I was so gobsmacked when the game went from thoughtful new creative approach COD, the sniper level, where I was wondering "oh, is this what the game is gonna be? I love this pacing and decision making on this massive map and that it's a little more realistic" to the convoy level, aka, "oh, there's the cod.. Gotcha." some of the best levels were, like, five minutes, and the convoy one went on for way way longer than it needed to.

Just wanted to explain a few things just to clarify, the whole AC-130 annihilating Mexican communities technically wasn’t US forces, so it can’t really be considered US attacks because it was performed by a PMC or Mercenaries. However since Hassan was captured and held by Taskforce-141, that was when it officially became US forces detaining a foreign official and they had to release him or it would be considered an act of war.
@silentgladiam20962 жыл бұрын
That makes absolutely no sense
@somelolicon2932 жыл бұрын
well that’s how it works, loopholes and all that, we can’t all take into account “context” or circumstances every single time anything happens. This just means we follow rules to the letter, they’re not going to look past that unless there’s a good reason to. So in the game, all that Mexico is concerned with is that America took someone from them, and is detaining them. The AC-130 fight could just be chalked up as some Cartel war officially
@blackbeard2.02 жыл бұрын
@@silentgladiam2096 The AC-130 is owned by the company so technically all the property damage done by the AC-130 was done by the company just like America might sell weapons to terrible countries like Saudi Arabia and UEA, but them using the weapons sold by America to commit warcrimes in Yemen isn't America's fault
@KekusMagnus2 жыл бұрын
But US forces executing a foreign general with a cruise missile in the first minute of the game is fine. And they kill Hassan at the end anyway? Really, they could've just taken him in and brokered a deal with Mexico. Letting him go was such a massive plot hole it ruined the whole campaign for me

@@silentgladiam2096 mercenary groups typically don't follow the laws of nations militaries, that's why they are so popular, mercenaries are used all over the world today, especially in Africa, and all countries and even companies hire them to help them in their personal interests, shadow company in mw2 is a mercenary group
