Cutting ties with Canada would send a strong message -- one that can be seen and heard by all, especially by those in the UK, who are up for elections which may likely bring India-bashing Labour Party politicians to power. Because then we'll have another Canada-style headache on our hands. India should review ties with all Five Eyes countries -- except for United States, which we have to maintain a working relationship with because it's so powerful -- and also possibly Australia and NZ, which are more mindful of Indian concerns due to regional interests. Five Eyes have increasingly been acting like an Anglo Raj trying to recruit Khalistanis as their sepoys to keep Indians down. India needs to be increasingly wary of political cycles of Left and Right in western countries, because when pro-Left parties come to power in any of these countries, they may increasingly harass India as part of their own Vote Bank politics and minority appeasement, whereas pro-Right parties will have a different political orientation.

Good analysis but for two points - 1. Uddhav Thackerey has gained votes because of Muslim votes which makes it dangerous for integration with NDA. 2. Punjab is affected by Khalistani propaganda through its jat sikh community in Canada/ UK / Australia. BJP needs to consolidate the Hindu, Christian, Dalit, Radhaswami, Nirankari, Sahajdari votes.
