Dressed in BSF attire, he shared sweets with soldiers stationed at Lakki Nala in the Sir Creek region. May this auspicious festival bring everyone health, joy, and prosperity. May Maa Lakshmi and Lord Shri Ganesha shower their blessings on all.”
All ten Indian Premier League (IPL) teams have announced their retained players, with big names like Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, and Shreyas Iyer heading to the auction. Each franchise can retain up to six players, working within a combined budget of ₹120 crore for both retentions and the auction.
Teams can keep a maximum of five capped players and two uncapped Indian players. Retention fees for capped players are categorised in three tiers, from ₹18 crore to ₹11 crore, while uncapped players may be retained for ₹4 crore.
As the IPL prepares for a new three-year cycle beginning with the 2025 season, the upcoming retentions will play a pivotal role in shaping strategies for all ten teams as they look toward sustained success.
