It's time to revisit the super genius Yogendra Yadav's "Congress must die" idea. Rahul Gandhi is an arrogant, overconfident, and stubborn fool. There are plentiful areas to take on Modi, but Rahul is neither able to connect nor inspire. The whole media was against Trump, yet he prevailed against Kamala because he focussed on real issues. Rahul is too alien for India.

@@pardeeptandon Govt has already imposed AFSPA to control Riots in Manipur. This will drastically bring down violence in coming days. Manipur cannot be compared to Bangladesh in any way and form, In the case of Manipur it is simply Tribal Conflict, That goes back to Pre Independence era. With Bangladesh, Even the Police and Military are committing violence against Hindus in Bangladesh, With daily acts of violence seen all over Social media and Bangladeshi media has reported more than 2000 attacks since Sheik Hassina was ousted. I would have expected any Opposition Leader to push the ruling Govt to take action against this, Instead, What do they do ? Not even talk about it, What a Shame !!!

Moreover Mr. Shekhar talks and also gives opinion on all the things in India and around the world. But still now he hasn't made 1 episode on gender neutral laws. Clearly The Print is biased.

It's unrealistic to expect the BJP to act differently when opposition parties, like the Trinamool Congress, rule their states with arrogance. The recent humiliation of VP Dhankar by Kalyan Banerjee, who mocked his mannerisms, is a case in point. Similarly, a professor was punished by the Mamata government for sharing a cartoon about her. Before asking the VP for introspection, we should talk about the duplicity of the Trinamool Congress. After all, what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

People's questions tend to be long winded - could you truncate them just taking the key points rather than just read out their questions. I personally lose track especially when there are more than one question and each question had a huge commentary from the one posing the question.

You guys are hypocrites. Are Manusmriti and Savarkar issues "prisoners of the present"? Okay, Modi has become "ordinary". In fact, it is factually correct that Modi had very little to no role in Maha, Haryana, and UP by-poll victories. Nevertheless, a weakened Modi has allowed a platform for a strengthened BJP. On the other hand, INC has become further marginalized. I see you didn't mention Rahul. Was it because of his definition of "Tapasya"?

I'm listening from Canada and I don't understand the language. What was said about places of Worship? Anyone? We have had over 100 Churches burned, Synagogues vandalized and now Islam who has 1000s of Mosques, is taking over our streets in prayer.

The audience Q was whether the judgment on the Places of Worship Act will be the defining legacy of the new CJI, which has only 1 one-year term (Context: An Indian CJI can serve only up to the age of 65. The current Chief Justice, Mr Khanna is already 64. He got promotion late). The other Q was whether the government was planning to remove the Places of Worship Act (Context: The Places of Worship Act states that the status of a mosque or a temple would be considered from 1947. This Act was passed after the demolition of Babri Masjid, which was originally built by demolishing the Ram Temple. I'll digress a bit here to inform you that a Ram Temple now stands at the site. It was constructed after favorable judgment from a legal battle initiated in 1885. Do not let anyone fool you. It is legally established that a temple stood at Ayoydhya. The place is sacred to Hindus as it is considered the birthplace of a revered deity, Lord Ram. In its judgment, the court did not comment on who demolished the temple. It is not hard to fill this void with a little bit of common sense, given the fact that 800 AD to 1400 AD was a tough period for India as it witnessed a brutal Islamic invasion. Coming back to the main issue, the Act had many problems. There were already multiple legal battles about several disputed "places of worship" even before this act. The current Govt is led by the BJP. It's a Hindu nationalist party). The response from the speaker was basically vague. He only responded to the first Q and stated that legal matters take time and he'll have to wait and see how things work out. (My opinion: The debate on the act ignited after the former CJI's oral observation wherein he said archaeological surveys unearthing the history of a place "may not necessarily fall foul" of the Places of Worship Act. Now, you need to understand three things - 1)It is not possible to reclaim everything that was lost to history. Even Israel is not constructing the Temple of Solomon at Al Aqsa. 2) However, should that stop us from deciphering the history of a particular place? In a just world, it should not, but the elements involved here are too volatile to control. India is a deeply religious country. Personally, I am happy with the Ram Temple, and I do not support other Hindu claims. However, there are certain illegal possession of Temples by you-know-who which must be returned back to us. These were not demolished structures. They were simply taken by just claiming and entering like idiots. One of those is the Sambhal Temple dispute, which triggered this discussion. PS: The commentator deliberately avoided a straight answer. (Hint: Avoid Samuel Paty fate)

Laws biased because if same offence is committed by a woman then she is not punished like a man is punished after committing that same crime. So LAWS are BIASED for eg. If a man verbally abuses a woman he will be jailed for 3 years but if a woman does the same there is no punishment for her
