Dude I love you and I've watched you for years, and I know that the only reason that theres no budget is because of the lackluster releases of the past few years not selling well - Al Dewar has shown pictures of a full, proper Flight Control 13 TARDIS, but no budget means no budget.

I'd love some amazing, high grade figures - Diamond Select or Marvel Ledgends style would be amazing - but then I also love the current 5 inch line. Any new figures just wouldn't match the old ones and then the new ones would completely stick out and probably wouldn't even be in th same scale.

@@Votesaxon07Reviews The problem with that logic is that the reason they can't make a good toy is because they have no budget because not enough retailers are buying the toys, which wouldn't change regardless of who has the license. Hell, the entire reason CO still has the license is because no other manufacturer is willing to outbid Character for the license.

This is fantastic Stephen! A great idea for a better 13th box! This top box signage could be done buy cutting the old inner sign out and replacing it with printed signs onto clear plastic with lights shinning through. Although, i have never done this nor have tried, but it is an idea!

This is actually cool. I can kinda forgive the original since the majority of its faults were also present in the original Seventh (not First) doctor TARDIS release (and the subsequent first and fourth releases, plus the price for this would've been ridiculous if the prototype ever entered production.) Maybe you can try this with the B&M sets too. EDIT: Once this coronavirus thing is over, you should try cutting the notches into it too (and obviously replacing the lights), possibly even adding the flight control function if possible.

Great work. The LEDs really brought it to life. I've started modifying the 13th Doctors's TARDIS too. So far I've just used a hacksaw to cut into the corner posts to recreate the grooves in the top and bottom and removed the right door handle to reattach lower down to match the current prop.

I think the reason that character had to use the classic mold was because of budgeting but what they could of done instead is just release a flight controlled TARDIS later probably after this line instead of this new cheap TARDIS I'm begging for character to release a flight controlled TARDIS for the thirteenth doctor Character if you see this comment please release one please!!!

When I modified my tenth tardis lights before I got into soldering I coloured in the leds with sharpies and it works really well so give that a shot :)

Yours looks great. I'm not sure the LEDs I'm using are as bright as there only 3mm LEDs so when the card insert is in you can't see them from the sides are back even when I bend it out into shape

Little trick I do. If you want the lantern LED to be the accurate blue. Just color the outside of the bulb with a blue Sharpie. Since the bulb is white, it should look more blue when it flashes.

If the 13th doctors wasn’t so expensive now a days I would totally get one and of course add a background, I’m not too bothered by the no lights in the windows. But if I could I would get some LEDs and add them to the top so when the doors open they turn on, but then again I’m no technician :/
