Modifications | Contract Law | Changing Rights and Duties

This lesson covers the rules governing contract modification. Once parties have formed a proper, legally-enforceable contract, they may wish to change the rights and duties each owes to the others. The general rule is that the parties may only make such changes to their contract if they have supplied additional or different consideration to support their modification.
