@@rrrrr-s3q Yeah. And I've always loved the S-Types. And even if they've lacked a little bit in speed & acceleration compared to a similarly equipped BMW 5-Series or Mercedes E-Class they'd make up for it in something else.

@@rrrrr-s3q despite me loving the s-type r, i have to disagree. The M5 and s-Type R arent in the same driving feel class The M5 is a more enthusiastic package, it wants to be thrown around and just BOOTED The Jag is.. refined, luxurious, it is a cruiser with tons of power, which will take a corner with grace and pace, but prefers to waft you from A to B at blistering sound, looks and performance.

@@rrrrr-s3q It's not really an M5 killer, a bit too heavy, fully auto gearbox, it'll never beat an M5 around a track. No LSD either, so I rarely launch mine from a standstill. But from a rolling start if you use the J-gate to get the revs in the power band it is still rapid. I often drive mine to Europe and it just eats up the miles, and you never feel tired. The interior is much nicer than the equivalent German one.

Your whole video went down the toilet when you described the S Type as an ugly car. No doubt it was done to simply align yourself with Top Gear. Why not develop an opinion of your own? Why not go further and describe all other retro styled cars of that era as ugly too? You'd be out on a limb, wouldn't you. The S Type has withstood the last quarter of a century much better than both it's competitors, BMW and Merc.
