I love how experimental you are when it comes to making songs, it is really inspiring. Have picked up a lot of great tunings from your songs, and I do have a spider capo, so perhaps I might try this one day as well. A capo for harmonics would be pretty sweet :D

My way to keep the Harmonic Gloves all together so that they do not move. Put a kind of gummy stripe in the Spider Capo saddle rings so that it squeezes inside the 3 rings very tightly. For example, just to give the idea, I used the gummy stripe , which is stick under the Boss pedal. As I tied the Boss pedal to a Pedaltrain so I could/had to remove it. Just to give the idea: any kind enough hard but still flexible gummy stripe should fit. Fits the gummy band in the saddle rings: it should be tied inside the saddle ring. This way the 3 saddles are very stable and also with less possibility to raise from the string because, being all tied together, it is impossible that one alone raises and very difficult that all of them raise together. Moreover, I simply mounted the SpiderCapo saddles reversed so I had to not break the ring in order to not touch the strings when they are raised. One more thing to do it to attach on the upper side of the Harmonic Gloves (not the one facing the strings!) a HDMI cap (yes, precisely!) and eventually fill it with some kind of heavy material (e.g. lead). The cap should have the opening directed towards the SpiderCapo and the top of the cap inserted in the trench of the Harmonic Gloves. This solution also helps to keep the saddles in the position and also makes it easier to raise or push them down because the finger can just lay over the HDMI cap. All of this to avoid to drill the SpiderCapo and break the rings of the saddles ;-) Then, it "only" remains to study the song and try to come as close as possible to the wonderful rendering as played by Antoine :-)

The new Harmonik Mutes II are out. They seem more sensitive to harmonics, they are red and easy to see, and they don't slip off sometimes like the 1st ones did. I use them on the 19th fret for harmonics a 5th higher. cool sound.

So how does the tip that articulates the harmonic not stop the harmonic from ringing? I don't know much about Spider capo's, so is that added tip made to keep resonating the string even though it's touching?

Kinda off topic but, how do you make your thumb nail that curved? I have acrylics but my natural thumbnail grows upwards so I use a fake tip (which I know you use) to make it curvier, but its still not enough.

Having studied classical guitar for a number of years, I found that filing your nail to that shape is pretty much the only way to do it. The back end of a nail clipper usually works, then find a fine-edged nail file to make them smooth (we used this gray, fine-coarsed sandpaper, made it silky smooth!). It should help shape the nail to the curved shape, then the fine-coarse filing will smooth it out so you don't catch it on the string (or, heaven forbid, bust a nail!). Hope this helps :)

Yes. I wanted to get something to perform more consistently after writing the song. You can do it with a much slighter modification but this makes it very consistent.
