hi, i always use g-shocks with analog and digital displays like the ga-100 and this year i found a cheap "the king" gx-56bb and its horrible read this negative display with poor light. always you have to push the light to read. nice modification. greatings from brazil. cyas.

Thank you for the kind words. Yes, theres lots of yellow filters. Id recommend searching ebay for "lee filters yellow". My personaly favorite yellow is their "light amber" (looks more yellow than amber)

Thank you for such an amazing video! The level of care you have taken to explain each step in such detail is astounding! You are a fantastic teacher! I also love this watch but have always held back from buying it because of the negative display. I find the negative display too difficult to read. I kept searching for the standard positive display version of this watch but none of the stores seem to have it anymore. Some stores say that Casio has discontinued making the standard positive screen versions. I wanted to ask you if only the non-adhesive polarizing film works or could this mod also be done with the one-side adhesive type polarizing film?

So what about instead of a positive/negative display flip, how about a negative backlight? I've had a couple watches come with a positive display that flips to negative with the backlight. Seems like the transflective polarized film on the back is flipped around?

Hi. A question if I may. When applying the Goo Gone/Goof Off does it not also creep into the gap between the other two layers? Does it matter?

Hi. The goo gone wont creep into those layers. Just make sure to dry it all off, including the edges and youll be fine👍

Thanks for sharing. I am wondering if the AE1500 module fit in the King case? I know the inner parts like the middle bar must be removed but I really hope one day I can have GX56 with larger numbers on the display.

Hi. Yes it is possible, but im not familiar with the process. I do know it requires using colored polarizing film to do exactly as yoi described. Id recommend joining Custom Casios Facebook group. Im a member there, and a few other modders know how to do this kind of mod👍

Actually yes. You do the same thing in the video, just dont remove the polarizer from the watch. It should give you the effect you are looking for.

Hi. You can use both nonadhesive and adhesive-baclrd polarizing film. Ive done both methods on this channel. But personally, i like using nonadhesive and it makes it easier to avoid any airbubbles
