Very cool, thank you. When I used super glue my nose was itching, when I went to go scratch it well the casio plate was stuck to nose for 2 days. I really got tired of people asking me what time it was while laughing at me so thank you for another great video.

Great video mate but I would have loved to have seen the module put back into the case for the complete end result. Cheers from Australia 👍

Thanks. Yeah, i was just trying to save time. I have many videos on how to remove and rinsert the module back into the case. Please check out my other tutorials for a more detailed tutorial. Heres one for example. Different model, but exact same procedure and internal parts: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eYOopXlqpb6Lo8U

Hi Michael…. I have been using this really thin double sided tape for my mods. It is really easy to apply and seems strong. I thought I would share in case you wanted to try it out. Cheers Dan.

Would you ever make a video of how to mod a g-shock dw5600 with colour filters?
@yodude11948 ай бұрын
Thanks for the video. Ive found the same problems with tape and came up with this. -Cut your filter to size and rest in place on faceplate. -On the cut filter, mark 4-8 spots with a sharpie where you want to apply the superglue. -Pick filter up with tweezers and FLIP OVER. -Holding the filter, use the sharpie marks as a guide, apply a tiny dab of super glue (toothpick works best). -Turn filter back over so superglue facing down and fix filter in place. -Very gently apply pressure (clean toothpick) to filter edges to make sure superglue has good contact with faceplate.

hi and thank you for the good video. I will be attempting to do this mod to my rangeman, but the thing is that the display is negative. do you think it will work on a negative display or it would be too dark? or not visible at all? Cheers Stan
@watchncarry9593 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the kind words. I think a negative display is too dark to show any color with the filters. Best to only do filters ona positive display👍

Would applying glue using the end of a toothpick from an appropriate kind of glue (or glue stick) work?
@watchncarry95932 жыл бұрын
Yes, a better solution. But more recently i dont use liquid glue anymore. I now use Trex double sided glue tape. I uploaded a video on it and how to apply it a few months ago. So much easier and cleaner to use

So I’m putting together everything needed for modding my first ae1200. The idea is a nuke theme. Green and yellow filters with a nuclear symbol in the upper left with yellow filter as well as the world having a couple red dots (also yellow filter) and the rest with green filters. How can I achieve the nuclear symbol and the red dots? Idk if that all makes sense but any help would be appreciated

there could be an issue with the tape drying overtime..

I don't dare use super glue, but use double tape. And the filter I use is a file book mica filter. I once used the doctor's medicine Aisa plastic, but it failed😅
