Modified Fender Jazz American Deluxe V

This is a sound sample of a 2012 Fender Jazz American Deluxe V. The Fender noieseless pickups and preamp were replaced with Lollar Single Coil Pickups and a Sadowsky preamp. I couldn't find any sound clips of 5 string lollar pickups so hopefully this well help someone!

I have that same bass i brought from a friend. He had barts put in but left the fender stock pream in. I was thinking of getting the Sadowski preamp and installing it with those barts. The only thing i don't like is the finger board is to wide. I like a 34inch my self. Wonder if i can get a Moduls graphite made for it.

I like your sound test videos and your modified basses! Great playing as well! Just wondering, when you changed the stock preamp to sadowsky, did you shield the cavity? I am about to do the same with my 2013 MIA DLX jazz5. Same as yours, only in black finish. Thanks!

The Lollars have more of a vintage tone than the N3's. I like both, but I really like the Lollars!!
