Its understandable they couldn't spare any crash barriers - I mean the professional DRC drivers deserve safety more than these street racers right? Next best thing could be to have van drivers sign two waivers and keep one in a safe. Waivers can always get lost or damaged by coffee, and this way you're still covered.
