Is there a way to freeze instead of turning off layers? Maybe a LISP routine? This would allow me to quickly copy layers and their objects between drawings. ie: ctrl A...ctrl C in source dwg and ctrl V in target dwg to paste. thx.

The drawing I used in this video is from the dataset of my book AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT: No Experience Required, and was an exercise in it. I don't currently have a video talking about how to draw elevations in AutoCAD, but will add it to my list of ideas for future videos. Thanks for the suggestion.
