The air vents also have tabs at the back that lifts up then you can remove the frame of the vent. Will ensure no paint gets on the vents. Just for next time when you touch it up again cause it does fade after some time again

Home boy the rev counter to work there are two thing 1 on the cluster check the cable on the gearbox if it's connected and check your relay because short socket of power to the relay will not work properly or even at all

U could of taken the clips out of the vents nd then u could just paint the outside instead of masking it all off nd u'd be able to just spray the outer trim but none the less it came out great
