How does MODS seal the seams? With heat tape like Bare? or with Aquaseal like DUI? Thanks

It's multiple coats of Aquaseal. I just filmed a comparison with a DUI suit, and they're very comparable in stitching and cut of pieces.

Just a suggestion, for just a little more, you can get a Seal Drysuit, DUI, or Santi. They cannot be compared with MODS. The MODS drysuits are extremely expensive considering the quality and features. If you have the money to invest in a more expensive drysuit, SF TNT Pro is the best drysuit in the world.

Could you back that up with some actual numbers? What I found is comparable DUI will cost around $5k vs the MODS at $3k. I'm not a fan of the DUI zip seals at all. Other than that, the quality is comparable.

Santi is not as premium of a suit, from the cut pattern of material to the durability of the seals. It might be light weight and a good travel suit but not made as durable. IMO

Neoprene like the SF TNT Pro isn't ideal if you want to dive warm and cold water. It looks like it has nice features. I'm not impressed with their site as they don't show any pricing.

@@AddAdventures TNT Pro is a full kevlar trilaminate drysuit. I dive this drysuit in the caves in FL in 76 degrees water with no problem. I also use a full heated undergarment for multi-hour cave dives. This is by far the best drysuit in the world.

I'd love to try one. The SF Tech site is confusing because it says it's a combination of neoprene and Kevlar. IDK What is the cost of the TNT Pro if it's custom sized with all the features. Have you tried diving in a MODS Drysuit or a DUI? MODS is working on putting together a demo day here, soon, in the PNW if you're interested in trying one.

USIA is no longer in business, but I plan to make more content soon comparing my MODS suit to other suits, which are still available now. The short answer, though, is that MODS is more affordable.
