Quick tip: you can wear socks, particularly neoprene socks, on the outside of the booties and that’ll help protect them tremendously!

Good tips for the cause ! Thanks !

Seems like a LOT of material on the booties though. I am already concerned about how much it will bunch up when trying to put them into shoes much less with an ADDITIONAL layer on top. Are you saying that you JUST wear neoprene socks ONLY over these with NO SHOES?

I have the Emperor, love it (but usually have a buddy help with the zip) going on my 3rd winter, no issues. Im a similar size to Matt (5'9.5 145), maybe my legs are a little longer 31". I tried small but was too tight in crotch. Med little l Baggy, but not too bad. ALSO CKS, super easy order and exchanges! Level six quality is Top notch!! Personally, I recommend level six over the other two big names. Little cheaper. From what I have seen Level six has good warranty and customer service. I called them today on a skirt question, the lady I spoke with was a class 4/5 ww kayaker, got to love they have super knowledgeable employees! I'm thinking getting the Odin as back up and when I attain alone or sea kayak. Thanks for review Matt!

Thanks for this. Outdoor play currently is having a 25% off sale of Level 6 drysuits so im looking at getting one. You have any experience on the Cronos Dry Suit?

The cordura on the emperors shoulders should also protect more if you have to carry your boat a lot - I think the cordura is on the backside too (if you swim that's probably the bit that would rub/catch the most on the bottom of the river).

True on both counts!

The sizing chart in this video does match up with the one on Level Six's site.. AT ALL! For example in your video it says waist/hips 40"-42" is LARGE but on Level Six's website they show a Large as having a waist of 34-36" and hips only 38-40" which is a HUGE difference. That "difference material" is CORDURA on the Odin

Well level 6 updates their products so that is definitely capable of happening over a year. Have to take that into account when watching a video. It happens ! At the time it was correct

@@DownstreamV Thanks for the super quick response. I have a 47" chest so it looks like I need an XL based on their current sizing charts.

@@n-da-bunka2650 I have an Odin XL, and I can confirm it will fit you with a 47" chest. If you're tall, like 6'3" or taller, be aware that the legs are slightly short. Not unworkable, but they're shorter than I would have guessed. Ultimately it doesn't hamper me in any way (I'm 6'4"), but if you have short boots you're wearing, the velcro over the ankles might not velcro over the boots. Other than that, I've been really impressed with the drysuit. I can't imagine trying to put one on that doesn't have the cross-chest zipper. It makes getting in and out of the suit easy. God luck, buddy!
