Nice ride just one heads up, I have the square style tires on my 800 X2 and though they do tear up the trails be aware that on flat ground they are squirrely. Just a heads up.

Yes, trust me, I'm well aware of that. I've tried going high speed on some roads around the neighborhood, man it is all over the place, it's a scary feeling. I'll get it up to about 64, and you can tell it can go some more, but the squirelliness, I have to back off real quick.

Nice setup! Looking forward to seeing your new tires on it. I have a 2021 850 Premium in the same color. Been wanting to change out the tires too. Like you, I'm not a fan of the rounded look of the stock tires. I really like the placement of your rear white LED lights. Haven't seen them done like that before but that looks like a stock placement. Good job!

Is there any way to hook those white rear lights up to reverse so just by changing into reverse they go on automatic

That's a very good question. I was researching that when I saw your question. I haven't been able to find anything on that. I'm sure there has to be some type of actuator switch that has to be attached to the tranny, and that's way beyond my skill level.

Nice, we have the exact same make/model/trim/year. Would love info for the rear clear LEDs. Few things I'm wanting to do with my quad as well, such as brush guards, skid plate. Also would like to add the 3rd brake light as well. I was considering the clear light that's on the hunter's addition but the your clear LED, I want to go that route, nice look. Great video!

@@diabolicalnerd the install wasn't too difficult really. I did have to use more wire to get to the front of the bike to connect to the battery and the switch. So you'll also need to get you a switch and some wire. You can prolly pick it up at Home Depot, Menards or Lowes or some place like that, or even Autozone or O'Reillys.

Hey Kuntry! What made you go with the 850 over the 1000? Just curious as I'm shopping for a big farm/trail atv and have come down to this or the sportsman 1000. I'm not entirely convinced that the $$ of the 1000 is worth it over the 850. I'm a glutton for power and usually buy once, cry once, so I know I'd be happy with the 1000 but spec to spec, the only difference is 12hp. If you were in my situation, what do you think? Great video and I too, "like all the pies!!". 🥧

As far as the reason I bought the 850, it was just enough power for me, plus I bought mine from a private seller. If you're going to be using it on your farm, I would definitely go with the 850. It has plenty of power, especially if you're going to be towing/ hauling a small trailer like I do. I would say only go with the 1000 if you're going to be doing a lot of trail riding and mudding. But the 850 will be powerful enough for you trust me.
