theres a lot i disagree with when it comes to minecraft mechanically, so this collection of mods alone doesn't make it fun for me. but these are absolutely banger cosmetic/vanilla+ mods and i'm for sure keeping an eye on some of these for my personal modpack

Presence Footsteps is another small mod that combines really well with Sound Physics Also, great video! One of the first ones I've seen that actually understands what 'Vanilla+' is supposed to be

sound physics remastered is one of my favorite mods, it's so simple but adds so much atmosphere to the game

I think it's because Minecraft back then had you more invested in surviving the night and having fun with friends. Still, nowadays there's too much to do even in a day you feel like you've accomplished nothing back then, even building a terrible-looking mini-castle made of cobblestone had you feeling like you conquered the world, I learned this from the newest sipover video which really made me realize, that what Minecraft is lacking nowadays is that it doesn't have anything to lack but, too much to offer. So rather than adding on to current releases, I'd suggest you try going back to the golden ages of 1.7.0 - 1.12.2 to the feel of childhood, to the feel of REAL Minecraft (But still, good video!)

Saying sipover made the comment an L.. Do you want them to just add a little thing every update? Most people would say no, because then it would be boring. Building shit houses could still make you feel proud, it’s just on ur mindset and it’s not like grand castles and fucking immaculate builds didn’t exist back then? What Minecraft needs is an update similar to 1.16 where they overhauled an entire dimension, not just nothing burgers that they had been releasing (Though 1.21 looks promising) If you still want more then consider checking Gerg’s video about this.

Everytime I run vanilla Minecraft, I run straight to cursed forge and cook up a little pack and I cannot play without the eating animations mod. Little things just make the game more enjoyable

These are cool but of you really want to enjoy minecraft again, download an overhaul. 1.12 and 1.7 quest mods are something else: Planetary, Astroblock, Crash Landing, Feed The Beast, ot even Gregtech if you like pain

Good video :D Is more cosmetic than adding new gameplay, but for those who wants more content I know a few interesting mods. Ars Noveau (magic). Create (redstone but funnier). Comes Alive (nerfs the villager farms). Those add too many content to Minecraft. I know more :)

2:37 You should actually use the shoulder surfing mod instead of this one, it does the exact thing, but your third person views camera can be shifted to your left or right side, which looks and feels insanely nice for vanilla+ Also i'm not sure if you're using this, but from the look of the video you're using the tectonic mod. For people that don't know this mod it smoothest the terrain + heavily improves all terrain generation.

there's also one called 'camera utils' which adds features just like that, and other features like detaching your camera (not freecam) and adjusting how far your third person camera is from the player its all very customizable :)

I found my own way to enjoy Minecraft again. After making so many carefully crafted RPG and vanilla+ modpacks, always meticulously selecting the perfect mods that fit the current vibe I'm going for... It got kinda boring. SO I made a modpack where I ditched all that, added GUNS, GORE, WIZARDS, MEDIEVAL WEAPONRY, GUNNERS AND SUICIDE BOMBERS, DRAGONS, PARKOUR, VEHICLES, WAIFUS, PHYSICS, THIRST MECHANICS, TEMPERATURE MECHANICS, WHATEVER THE FUCK THIN AIR IS, HORROR MODS and a death counter. I'm having so much fun. Currently at 57 deaths.

You should take a look at the bracken pack when you can. It's a datapack that adds 11 dimensions. Plus, I heard the dev behind it is pretty cool too! :)

Moreover, in addition to the Tool Trims mod there are some other mods including the Stacked Armor Trims mod Elytra Trims mod and Elytra Slot that make a perfect combination together. For sick explosions I recommend the Physics Pro mod

There is a good Mod called Friends and Foes and it is for mob vote haters because it brings back mob vote losers, currently featuring: Wildfire (Hovering Inferno), Mauler (Great Hunger), Iceologer, Moobloom, Copper Golem, Glare, Rascal and Tuff golem!
