I am generally impressed with your work and the whole original visual setting of your compositions, transferring your musical imagination to another dimension where the sound is no longer just a sound ...

The Minilogue going into the L-Fi Junky has a real Boards of Canada sound to it. I love it.

Brought to your channel by a Clare de lune video, enjoyed some guitar x eurorack video you did, and got an idea on how to program my microfreak sequencer and hold key similar to the minilogue here. -Thanks-

Beautiful, as always. A technical question: how did you send the different fx to different voices? Modular direct out to the pedals work? Modular mixer with send fx? Thanks!

nice piece, love these locales; and 'very cold' - wonder, if 50-yr.old oscillators were out there that their drift would actually be a plus for music like this (or was/is it the other way around, heat = drift? can't remember)
@overseasterritory89837 жыл бұрын
yeah it's usually cold that puts them a bit out of tune

This is awesome stuff! The background just fits so well with the music. I am really interested in synthesizers and am amazed with everything they can do. What would your advice be to someone just starting out, and would the minilogue be a good synth to start learning on? I have heard nothing but good things about it.
@annannie7 жыл бұрын
The Minilogue would be a wonderful first synth. Personally though, I started on a little Korg Volca Keys.

Ill check out both. Thank you for replying!

May I ask what power supply you're using, I saw the description, do you know what model? Do you think it could power 3 Mother-32's? Beautiful composition btw! Thanks
@annannie7 жыл бұрын
not sure :( had issues when I had more than one thing plugged in. I'd check the Mother 32's power draw and make sure whatever power source you're using can supply it.

So awesome! Would you consider ditching the minilogue to do all your synthesis within modular, or is the minilogue just that cool/useful?
@annannie7 жыл бұрын
I've considered it, but honestly I like minilogue just in the face that its a different playing style than the modular with the keyboard, patch memory and polyphony. That and it sounds beautiful :)
@josephf73067 жыл бұрын
Word. Yeah I think keyboards will always be more immediately musical, while modular is more scientific and thus better for tweaking/manipulation/effects (though also great for drones/bleeps/bloops). And yeah, can't go wrong with patch memory and polyphony!
