Mikey, that is a work of art! When you look at the groundworks at the beginning and the vid and what you walked away from on completion, that's all your dude! The customer can see everything is done masterfully.

Back on backfilling !!! Twenty loads to go around the founds..... kept you and your sidekick busy 💪💪💪 Diesel compactor makes light work of the backfill for sure 💪💪💪 And why don't dozers like rocks ?? 🤔 It leaves them stoned 🤣🤦♂️🤷♂️

The major appreciation goes to YOU for another video but a *SHOUT OUT to Diesel Equipment* for what's become one of your major & favorite compaction pcs for a few years now! I remember MANY years ago you having to machine lift a *WACKER PACKER* and fight it on the ground! This Diesel Equipment Packer is a *NO BRAINER* Thanks!

Always a good video of the great work you do. You have a pretty unique channel because it's you. Keep up the good work. I'll be watching.

Nice! I've always found it less expensive to use pan over the porches. Most owners opt to install a door from the basement and use them as a safe room/root cellar or wine cellar. I also do a lot of elevated slab garages for more room/storage when there is a deep fill situation.

That crushed gravel for backfill would run about $12,000.00. Gravel in my area has just became insane.
@DIRT-BOSS8 ай бұрын
Wow that is insane.. definitely jumped up in price here but nothing like that

@@DIRT-BOSS Around hear we have both gravel and limestone. Gravel is not crushed it is washed and sorted only. Much cheaper than crushed limestone.
@papierskispropertyservices25328 ай бұрын
@@DIRT-BOSS yea. Screened gravel is $24.50 a ton and crushed gravel is $26.50. Its hard to source anywhere else without adding extra haul time and fuel.

should always shoot your garage floor elevation. Some foundation guys will drop the wall more than needed to give you extra concrete at the threshold and its always easier to pour it thicker at the threshold than it is to cut the wall down lower.
@DIRT-BOSS8 ай бұрын
Obviously we shot it before we dug but what I was saying was when I was bidding it we didn't shoot it we just bit it off a set of prints and look at the site real quick there was a house originally there that had to come down so we didn't know the elevations

🧐 code is minimum of 10 ft away from any structure of the house. Also code is 1 ft of material over the top of it. Hopefully you have risers on it
