Narrowly evading death by creeper at 1:09 just to meet an eventual demise to one in the end takes guts, I have no idea why that alone hasn't quite literally blown this up. This is also like my hundreth time of coming back just to listen to the sole remix that can strike so many of Minecraft's wonderfully narrative melodies into such an amazing combination, so props to you!

microsoft hasnt even touched minecraft the only thing that changed when they bought mojang is they get the money. minecraft died because 1. kids took over and 2. all products start to die eventually because if they dont update it people get out of it but when they update it its crappy because they used up all the good ideas. unfortunately theres really no way to change that. the best anyone can do at this point is try to enjoy the game as much as they can even though its dead.

Listening to this gave me goosebumps - I played Minecraft for the first time way back, close to when it first came out, I think, on my cousin's computer. Hearing this brought me back to those simpler, carefree times, and reminded me that such times will eventually come again. This somehow sounds hopeful, full of wonder and marvel; which I find quite fitting for Minecraft's sense of exploration and endless possibilities. A delightful remix. Tommyj does a really good job of creating remixes that don't always have to rely on a fan-based bias to enjoy. Like, if you click on a GameGrumps remix, you expect to hear funny quotes, and grump-ish elements. If I clicked on this, without knowing it was based on Minecraft, I would enjoy it just as much as any Minecraft fan, simply because the flow and quality of this remix is so good.
