Customer's don't get confused with rates. For 700 per sqft he can do only 0.8 mm thickness Laminates only. Acrylic is what he shows and you can't get this finish in 0.8 or 1mm laminates.MDf usage he does to reduce cost. Best don't use mdf @ all in kitchen. Customer goes with ready made kitchen now a days, where you don't know what ply he used and what thickness mica( Laminates) being used. Best go with manual modular kitchen so that you are aware of every material. Manual modular kitchen main drawback is finishing is 85% vs ready made modular kitchen which is 95% finishing...

True - I am using only plywood ( green ply ) 19 mm thk - with acrylic sheet - old systems ( concrete kitchen slab with granite - good & long lasting)
