I am taking this course, but I am unable to advance beyond this stage due to Tarifit Berber; it is too difficult! I am convinced that: It has SOV word order. The basic sentence order is subject-object-verb, as evidenced by examples like "t_amyaat_ ttett arrǔz" (the woman eats rice) and "aryaz issnenna arrǔz" (the man cooks rice). The adjective precedes the noun. We can see this in phrases like "t_anewwǎst_ t_aeffant" (the ugly flower) and "nnwar aṣebḥan" (the beautiful plant). There are both prepositions and postpositions. The phrase "yaa tendint" (toward the city) uses the postposition -nt to indicate direction. Similarly, "yaa dḍśaa" (toward the village) uses the postposition -aa for the same purpose. The noun precedes the postposition. As mentioned above, postpositions follow the noun they refer to, as in "yaa tendint" (toward the city) and "yaa dḍśaa" (toward the village). Question words come at the beginning of the sentence. The interrogative sentences "min ttett waryaz?" (what does the man eat?) and "wi issnennaan ayrum?" (who cooks bread?) demonstrate this pattern, with the question words "min" (what) and "wi" (who) appearing at the beginning of the sentence. But where am I going wrong?

I think you're trying to analyse it with the european mindset of a languge unless you are basque by origin, because they can more easily refer to this type of grammar(not entirely of course),but what I am trying to convince here is,that if you're into tarifit or other berber languages, then don't diminish your ecouragement and thoroughly analyse it to finally comprehand.I myself am currantly studying such a langauge, which is Adyghe languge, that is so completely different from what I have known and comprehanded through the years, that it sometimes makes me wanto to quit, but I won't,due to I have a desire to acquire it and use in the future with real persons to talk to and it facilitates my studies at best.
