My civ pro professor was the law clerk that authored the original Gasperini opinion for the 2nd Circuit, which was overturned by SCOTUS. Imagine how confusing that class was then...talk about losing the forest for the trees! He's a brilliant guy and a great professor but bc he knew that case inside and out we got way deep into the weeds and my mind was really all over the place : )
